Alturas donates P336K to breast cancer patients
Just in time for the Yuletide season of giving, the Alturas Group of Companies (AGC), through its Alay Marcela Foundation, distributed cash assistance worth P16,000 each of the 21 breast cancer patients and survivors who belong to the second batch of chosen recipients of the gross proceeds of the Pink Run 2023, which was successfully conducted last October 1, at the Island City Mall carpark.
The awarding of donation worth P336,000 to the beneficiaries was conducted last November 11, at The Prawn Farm of Island City Mall, during a special luncheon meeting tendered by the AGC.
Top management of AGC expressed its gratitude to all the participants/runners, organizers, working committees, registration partners, and most especially the sponsors, who in one way or another, contributed to the success of the Pink Run 2023.
Last year, AGC also turned-over cash assistance worth P10,000 each to the 20 breast cancer patients and survivors. The P200,000 total donation were the gross proceeds of the “Pink Run” 2022, conducted as part of the nationwide observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month of October.
