Alturas scholar is new electrical engineer
After two of its scholars passed the licensure examination for architects last June, the Alturas Group of Companies is proud again of another scholar who recently passed the Electrical Engineer Licensure Examinations given last September 1 and 2.
A graduate of UB, 22-year old Marlon Balaba Bachinilla of Sacaon, Garcia-Hernandez, is among the 3,135 successful examinees nationwide, together with nine other passers from UB which posted almost the same passing rate of 66.67% to the national passing rate of 66.74%.
Engr. Bachinilla was among the roster of Alturas scholars who are enjoying the usual privileges such as free tuition and allowances. Right after graduation, he reviewed hard for the board exam under company expenses, including board and lodging. To further hone of what he learned from the classrooms, he applied as an OJT being an electrical technician at the Engineering Department of Alturas for more than a year.
His apprenticeship likewise made him fully-equipped with the best knowledge and experience in the field of electrical engineering, both in the workplace and on the field.
With his feat, Alturas will honor his outstanding achievement as Alturas always gives due recognition to its scholars who either earned their college degrees, or pass any board exams.
Last June, two Alturas scholars Raquel Angelica Bagnol and Choramae Matildo, who both finished BS in Architecture at BISU–Main, became architects. Another Alturas scholar, Jessa Mae Bautista, graduated cum laude last year with her BS in Office Systems Management course at BISU-Main.
Mrs. Nancy A. Doydora, the designated coordinator of the Alturas Scholarship Program, said other Alturas scholars are currently reviewing for their board examinations. Alturas is nothing but so proud of their success which may serves as inspiration to others. The company is grateful to them for living up to the expectation to pursue and finish their studies, while at the same time working in order to gain the experience and diploma.
Likewise, the scholars heartily conveyed their gratitude to the Alturas Group of Companies for helping them realize their dreams. Their parents also express the same sentiments thanking the company for helping them lighten the financial burden of their families through the scholarship program.
