Jollibee opens 1st drive-thru

An imposing landmark adds glitter to the colorful cityscape of Tagbilaran, and not to mention the spread of more joy and langhap-sarap goodness to the Boholanos as the first Jollibee drive-thru in the city was opened last June 16.

Located in the corner of CPG Ave. and New Calceta St., between the Shell station and Hyundai display center, the new Jollibee drive-thru is the 4th Jollibee store in Bohol franchised by the Alturas Group of Companies.

Jollibee managing director, Mrs. Nancy Doydora, said its two-storey building designed with a touch of modern tropical architecture has a sitting capacity of up to 300, including 94 for the party area. She added that it has also a carpark which can accommodate up to 17 cars and 12 motorcycles in a given time. The store is open from 6 AM to 12 midnight.

During the grand opening, the first 100 drive-thru customers with Chickenjoy bucket purchase were given Jolly travel pillow. One can also join the roleta game and win Jolly prizes for every P250 food purchase in the Jolly “Spin & Win” promo. There were also free Jolly balloons for every Value Meal purchase with drink upsize.

Party band CenterStage entertained everyone in the evening near the store main entrance porch area, while the mascots of Jollitown, including Jollibee, also welcomed everyone.

With its langhap-sarap goodness now a favorite staple for a Pinoy taste, Jollibee today is now operating an extensive 1,100 stores around the world, with strong presence in Hong Kong Singapore, Vietnam, United Arab Emirates, United States of America, and Canada, among others. Here in Bohol, it will open more in Talibon town and another one in downtown Tagbilaran. Other Jollibee stores are located at Plaza Marcela, Alturas Mall, and Island City Mall.
